PEPSODENT BRUSH DAY AND NIGHT PROGRAM

Pepsodent, the leading brand in the toothpaste industry has come out with education for pupils and their parents to develop the habit of brushing their teeth day and night. School health education coordinators were taken through programs on how to brush their teeth properly, when to brush, and who should brush their teeth.

Data show that a lot of young ones are suffering from toothache and decay due to lack and or inadequate brushing of teeth.

Tsiyinu M.A Basic school also benefited from this program. Pupils were tasked to collect empty Pepsodent toothpaste tubes. The best three pupils were given medals, a toothbrush, and a Passport which will enable them to participate in the World Brush Program which will be organized soon.

The headteacher of the school took a certificate of participation on behalf of the school while the school health coordinator also took one for his coordination.

Because the school participated in the program, the rest of the students also benefited. Two-thirds (2/3) of the students got toothbrushes and toothpaste and the rest got only toothpaste.

The school is grateful to the organizers and plead for more health related supports for the pupils and the community.
